Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian sweet sausage
  • 1 pound Italian warm sausage
  • 2 lg. onions, sliced thin
  • 3 lg. green peppers, cut in thin rings
  • Spaghetti sauce

Method

  • Brown whole sausages in skillet.
  • Pierce skins as they cook.
  • Cook till done inside.
  • Remove from pan.
  • Drain off grease and saute/fry onions till golden, remove from pan.
  • Saute/fry peppers till tender.
  • Slice sausage into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices.
  • Add in sausage, peppers and onions to skillet.
  • Stir fry on medium to medium-high heat.
  • Drain any excess fat.
  • Add in spaghetti sauce, just sufficient to coat well.
  • Heat through and serve on Italian bread.
