Ingredients

  • 1 lg. onion, minced
  • 1 c. celery, diced
  • 2 lbs. grnd beef or possibly turkey
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 soup can water
  • 2 1/2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • Dash pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
  • 1 can liquid removed bean sprouts
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced

Method

  • Saute/fry onion and celery; remove from pan.
  • Brown 2 lbs grnd beef and celery and onion.
  • Add in to pan and mix; heat well.
  • Add in soup, water, soy sauce and pepper.
  • Add in rice, bean sprouts and water chestnuts.
  • Pour into 9x13 inch casserole dish and bake 30 min at 350 degrees.
  • Uncover and add in 1 large can Chinese noodles, if so desired and bake 20 min more or possibly leave plain and still bake 20 min more, uncovered.
