Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2/3 c. hot water

Method

  • Combine flour, sugar, nuts and cocoa in large bowl.
  • Add milk and oil, stirring well.
  • Spoon into an ungreased 1-quart casserole.
  • Combine brown sugar and 1 tablespoon cocoa.
  • Sprinkle over batter.
  • Pour water over top.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Serves 3 to 4.
  • Can be doubled easily.
