Ingredients
- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1 c. sweet milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 4 eggs, separated
Method
- Mix cornmeal, milk, salt and butter.
- Cook into a mush.
- Add egg yolks.
- Beat until light.
- Stir in egg whites, beaten stiff. Pour in greased casserole and set in pan of water and bake.
- It takes about 45 minutes to bake in a rather hot oven.
- Serves 4 or 5.
