Ingredients
- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. shortening (Crisco)
- scalded milk (do not boil)
- 3 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. yeast
Method
- Mix
- all with flour.
- May have to add a little more flour but make a soft dough.
- Knead real good.
- Put in a greased bowl.
- Let rise until double in bulk, about
- 1 hour.
- Work down and make into rolls.
- Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
