Ingredients

  • 3 c. all purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp. baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 sticks butter, at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 c. old fashioned oatmeal
  • 2 c. sweetened flake coconut
  • 2 c. chopped pecans

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • In a very large bowl, beat butter on medium speed until creamy.
  • Gradually beat in both sugars for 2 minutes.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beat well and and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until just combined.
  • Add chocolate chips, oats, coconut and pecans.
  • Drop by tablespoon onto lightly greased baking sheets spacing 2 - 3 inches apart.
