Ingredients
- 6 Shiitake mushrooms
- 2 clove Garlic
- 1 thumb's worth Ginger
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Miso
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Doubanjiang (optional)
Method
- Mince the shiitake, garlic, and ginger.
- Mix together all of the ingredients.
- Heat some vegetable and sesame oil in a frying pan, and cook the Step 1 ingredients.
- Add the combined Step 2 ingredients to the frying pan.
- Once the alcohol has cooked off, it's complete.
- I made Shiitake Mushroom Miso Fried Udon.
- I used half of the powdered sauce included with the fried udon and mixed in the shiitake mushroom miso.
- A very simple dish.
