Ingredients

  • 6 Chicken tenders
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 3 tbsp Katakuriko
  • 1 Vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Mirin
  • 1 tsp Blended miso
  • 1/2 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 3 thin slices Garlic

Method

  • Spread a generous amount of vegetable oil out in a frying pan and place the katakuriko-coated chicken tenders.
  • Cook on high heat until golden brown.
  • Combine the ingredients, mix, and set aside.
  • Spread a generous amount of vegetable oil out in a frying pan and place the flour-coated chicken tenders.
  • Cook on high heat until golden brown.
  • Once one side has cooked, flip and cook on medium heat with a lid.
  • Once it's golden brown, stop the heat.
  • Wipe excess oil in the frying pan with a paper towel, and add the sauce you made in Step 2, the garlic and turn on the heat again.
  • Turn up to high heat and once the sauce comes to a boil, it's done (be careful not to burn it).
  • Cut into bite-sized pieces and serve.
