Ingredients

  • 1 can buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Separate dough into 10 biscuits.
  • Flatten into 5-inch circles. Place each one in the bottom and sides of a greased muffin pan. Set pan aside.
  • Brown ground meat and drain well.
  • Mix brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar and chili powder.
  • Stir until smooth.
  • Add to meat and mix well.
  • Divide meat mixture among biscuit lined pan (about 1/4-cup) for each.
  • Sprinkle with cheese.
