Ingredients

  • 125 g butter
  • ⅓ cup caster sugar
  • 2 tablespoons condensed milk
  • 1 cup self-raising flour, sifted
  • 120 g cooking chocolate, grated

Method

1. Beat butter and sugar in a small bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in condensed milk and vanilla essence. Fold in sifted flours and grated chocolate.

2. Drop two tea-spoonfuls of mixture onto greased baking trays, allow room for spreading. Bake at 160°C for about 15 minutes, or until golden. Cool on trays for 2–3 minutes.

3. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
