Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten or Egg Beaters to equal 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sweet milk
  • 1 Tbsp. corn meal
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. margarine, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • dash of salt

Method

  • Mix sugar, flour and corn meal.
  • Add eggs, milk and margarine. Add vanilla and vinegar; stir until smooth.
  • Pour into prepared unbaked pie crust.
  • Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon.
  • Bake for 10 minutes at 450°, then 20 minutes at 350°.
  • Best when served slightly warm or at room temperature.
