Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) pkg. cooked lasagna noodles
  • 2 lb. bulk Italian sausage *
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans tomato puree
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt (may omit salt)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. basil leaves
  • 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 (15 oz.) containers Ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/3 c. chopped parsley (fresh or parsley flakes may be used)
  • 4 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
