Ingredients
- 1 round/oval loaf French bread
- 1/3 c. olive oil or melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. Brie cheese
Method
- With serrated knife, cut hollow into bread 1/2-inch away from sides and bottom; remove from loaf.
- Cut piece which has been removed from loaf into strips, 1 to 1 1/2-inch wide strips.
- Mix oil and garlic.
- Brush inside of shell and bread slices.
- Place cut up cheese in bread shell.
- Place filled shell and slices in a single layer on a 10 x 15-inch pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 350°. Remove bread slices.
- Cook filled shell 10 minutes more and serve with grapes.
- Serves 10 to 12 people.
