Ingredients
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1 pt. shelled oysters, drained
- 5 c. milk
- 1 c. cream
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. paprika
Method
- Melt butter in saucepan and add oysters.
- Cook 3 minutes over moderate heat, until edges of oysters curl.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Let heat almost to boiling point.
- Serve at once. Sprinkle paprika on each serving.
- Makes 6 servings.
