Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 12 teaspoon salt (if using unsalted butter)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 cup chunky peanut butter
- 2 cups sifted flour (I have never sifted it!)
Method
- Combine butter, soda, and peanut butter.
- Mix well.
- Add granulated sugar, then brown sugar and mix well.
- Add beaten eggs, mixing well.
- Add flour and blend.
- Take 1 tsp of dough and roll in a ball.

- Press cookies lightly with fork to flatten.

- Bake at 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
