Ingredients

  • 5 lb. pork butt
  • 1 lg. onion
  • 1 block tofu
  • 2 cans sukiyaki no tomo
  • 1 bunch watercress
  • 1 bag bean sprouts
  • Shoyu
  • Sugar
  • Won bok (optional)

Method

  • Cut pork butt into bite size pieces and cube onion.
  • Saute both until brown.
  • Add equal parts shoyu and sugar until meat is covered.
  • Bring to a boil and turn down to a simmer.
  • Cut tofu into pieces, sukiyaki no tomo (be sure to chop noodles into pieces) and won bok.
  • Add to pot.
  • Simmer for an hour or until pork is very tender.
  • After pork is cooked add watercress and bean sprouts.
  • Continue to cook until cress is cooked down.
