Ingredients
- 2 lb. pkg. frozen hash browns
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (may use celery soup)
- 1 stick butter, melted (can use 2 Tbsp. corn oil)
- 1 c. sour cream (may use light sour cream)
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. grated sharp cheese
- 3/4 tsp. salt
Method
- Combine all ingredients (save 1 cup grated cheese to sprinkle on top) and put in large greased casserole.
- Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350°.
