Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce, shredded into small pieces
  • 1 c. celery, diced
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas, thawed (uncooked)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, diced
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 c. mayo
  • 4 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar

Method

  • Layer first 7 ingredients in order into bowl.
  • Combine mayo and sugar; spread evenly over top of salad.
  • Sprinkle with cheese and any leftover bacon bits.
  • Cover.
  • Refrigerate for 12 hours. Serve as is or mix first.
