Ingredients
- 1 head lettuce, shredded into small pieces
- 1 c. celery, diced
- 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas, thawed (uncooked)
- 1 onion, diced
- 1/2 c. green pepper, diced
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 c. mayo
- 4 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar
Method
- Layer first 7 ingredients in order into bowl.
- Combine mayo and sugar; spread evenly over top of salad.
- Sprinkle with cheese and any leftover bacon bits.
- Cover.
- Refrigerate for 12 hours. Serve as is or mix first.
