- 1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 minced onion
- 2 tomatoes, cut up
- 1/2 c. light cream
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. sherry
- 3 lb. shrimp, cooked and peeled
- 1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
- salt, pepper and paprika
Method
- Saute mushrooms in butter.
- Add onion and tomatoes; simmer 10 minutes.
- Blend cream and flour and add along with sherry, Worcestershire, salt, pepper and paprika to taste.
- Add shrimp and put in large buttered casserole.
- Top with crumbs and bake in 350° oven until brown, 20 minutes.
- Serves 8.
