Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 minced onion
  • 2 tomatoes, cut up
  • 1/2 c. light cream
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 c. sherry
  • 3 lb. shrimp, cooked and peeled
  • 1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
  • salt, pepper and paprika

Method

  • Saute mushrooms in butter.
  • Add onion and tomatoes; simmer 10 minutes.
  • Blend cream and flour and add along with sherry, Worcestershire, salt, pepper and paprika to taste.
  • Add shrimp and put in large buttered casserole.
  • Top with crumbs and bake in 350° oven until brown, 20 minutes.
  • Serves 8.
