- 2 c. crushed pretzels
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. oleo
- 1/3 c. coarsely chopped nuts
- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. sugar
- 8 oz. carton whipped topping
- 6 oz. box strawberry Jell-O
- 2 c. boiling water
- 2 (10 oz.) boxes frozen strawberries
Method
- Mix pretzels (not too finely crushed), sugar, oleo and pecans. Press lightly into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake 10 minutes at 350°.
- Cool.
- Combine cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and whipped topping.
- Spread on top of first layer.
- Dissolve jello in boiling water.
- Add frozen strawberries.
- When partially congealed, put on top of second layer.
- Refrigerate several hours.
