Ingredients

  • 1 large Cool Whip (12 oz.)
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz.) box instant pistachio pudding
  • 3/4 to 1 c. milk
  • 1 white cake mix
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. ginger ale
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz.) box instant pistachio pudding

Method

  • Mix until smooth the first three ingredients and refrigerate. This is the icing.
  • Mix the next 6 ingredients as per instructions for mixing cake.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes in 2 layers. When cake is completely cool, spread the icing between layers, on top and sides.
  • Sprinkle with nuts.
