Ingredients
- 170 grams Pork shoulder or pork belly
- 2 tbsp Sugar (I used brown sugar)
- 1 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 piece Ginger
- 1 tsp Sake
- 1 dash Salt
- 5 Shishito peppers
- 1 Canola oil
Method
- Rub finely chopped ginger and sake into the pork.
- Heat oil in a pan and add sugar.
- (I use brown sugar, so it's brown.)
- Spread meat on the sugar and heat on medium.
- Flip once one side becomes juicy and brown.
- Add shishito peppers.
- Once both sides are browned, quickly pour soy sauce in circular motion.
- Put heat on high and shake the pan to mix everything together.
