Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 can cherry pie filling (large)
  • 1 box Duncan Hines cake mix
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 c. nuts

Method

  • Pour whole can of
  • pineapple
  • and
  • juice into bottom of large Pyrex dish and
  • spread
  • evenly.
  • Add
  • cherry pie filling over top of pineapple. Add
  • dry
  • cake
  • mix over top of mixture evenly. Take 2 sticks
  • of margarine and cut into thin slices; place in rows over mixture. Sprinkle with nuts.
  • Cook at 350° for 1 hour. Serve with Cool Whip.
