Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. onion, minced
  • 1 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. white vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. poppy seed
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of cayenne pepper
  • 2 pkg. broccoli spears
  • 1/3 c. cashews, chopped

Method

  • Saute onion in melted butter or margarine until transparent. Cook and drain broccoli.
  • Remove onion mixture from heat and stir in all ingredients except broccoli and cashews.
  • Mix thoroughly. Arrange broccoli on heated platter.
  • Pour sauce over broccoli and sprinkle cashews on top.
