Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) can frozen biscuits
  • 1 lb. ground beef, turkey, etc.
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
  • 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 4 oz. shredded Mozzarella
  • 4 oz. shredded Cheddar
  • salt and pepper

Method

  • Spray 3-quart casserole with Pam.
  • Press biscuits into pan forming crust.
  • Brown meat; add onions, green peppers, tomato sauce, water and mushrooms and taco mix.
  • Cook until thick.
  • Pour over unbaked biscuits; top with cheeses.
  • Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
