Ingredients
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 2-1/2 c. crushed pretzels (Not too fine. Don't use thin pretzels.)
- 1 large strawberry Jell-O
- 2 c. boiling Water
- 3 c. chilled strawberries (chopped while partly frozen)
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 small carton Cool Whip
Method
- Cream margarine with sugar.
- Mix with Pretzels.
- Pat into buttered 9 x 13 baking dish.
- Bake 10 minutes at 350°.
- Cool completely on wire rack.
- Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water.
- Add strawberries.
- Cool completely.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar.
- Fold in whipped topping.
- Spread over cooled crust.
- When Jell-O begins to set, pour over top of cream cheese mixture.
- Refrigerate until firm (overnight).
