Ingredients

  • 150 grams Lotus root
  • 1 Katakuriko
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Mirin
  • 1 tbsp Bonito based dashi stock granules
  • 1 Aonori
  • 1 Chirimen jako
  • 1 Your favorite sauce

Method

  • Slice the lotus root into 7-8 mm thick rounds.
  • Microwave for about 2 minutes.
  • Pour on the ingredients and allow the lotus to absorb the flavors.
  • Coat the lotus root in katakuriko.

  • Brown evenly over medium heat.
